LESCO Tariff Guide

NEPRA approves the LESCO tariff before dictating the tariff to LESCO. LESCO cannot charge any tariff plan to consumers without approval from the government regulating authority (NEPRA) and notification to the government of Pakistan. Whatsoever tariff is decided by the government, those plans for different price tariffs, LESCO will directly pass those on to NEPRA.

Schedule Availability of LESCO Tariff 

LESCO will provide you with information about all the tariff terms and queries that are applicable.

You can apply during the 30 days after advance for changing your current tariff. Consumers must provide the documents required by changes in tariffs. LESCO will approve tariff change requests after it is satisfied with the information you have provided and verified your provided information.

LESCO Tariff Change

(A) The consumer will need to apply for an energy tariff change at least 30 days before they want it activated.

(B) To request a change in your tariff, please submit the necessary documents and apply to LESCO customer care executives.

(C) LESCO will approve any changes to the tariff if the customer submits the form with the required information within 30 days after receiving it.

Mis-Use Of Tariff

(A) You should not be using the connection to do anything other than that for which it was originally intended. In case you do – we reserve the right to take action against you, including disconnection and/or penalization.

(B) LESCO shall serve 7 days’ notice to consumers facing sanctions after misusing their approved/sanctioned tariffs. This new tariff will allow LESCO to collect the difference of charges that have been lost. If there are no documents to go on, then the maximum period of these charges will be determined by LESCO.

LESCO Bill Unit Rates

Below are given LESCO bill unit rates 2023 for Residential and industrial connection types.  LESCO commercial unit rate is also mentioned in the given table.

A1 General Supply Tariff-Residential

As per Authority’s decision, residential consumers will be given the benefits of only one previous slab

Under Tariff A-1, there shall be a minimum monthly customer charge at the following rates even if no energy is consumed.

a) Single Phase connections: Rs. 75/- per consumer per month

b) Three-phase connection: Rs.150/- per consumer per month

A2 General Supply Tariff-Commercial

B Industrial Supply Tariff

  • For B1 consumers there shall be a fixed minimum charge of Rs. 350 per month. 
  • For B2 consumers there shall be a fixed minimum charge of Rs. 2,000 per month.  
  • For B3 consumers there shall be a fixed minimum charge of Rs. 50,000 per month.
  • For B4 consumers there shall be a fixed minimum charge of Rs. 500,000 per month.
